Southern Girl Natural Hair Studio is a safe haven and home for Naturally Curly and/or Textured Hair. It is a place where Curls are celebrated and cared for. Traditional Haircuts & Color Services are offered for all textures, and we offer a variety of Protective Styling options.

Founder/Lead Stylist

Carlisha has been working as a licensed Hairstylist for nearly 10 years. Her own Natural Hair Journey, inspired her to share her gifts and talents with others. She too struggled when it came to her hair, and decided to help others that may be struggling like she had.

When Carlisha is not Behind the Chair, she is probably working on a Film or Television Set, working on a Fashion Editorial Photoshoot, working Behind the Scenes at a Runway Show at a Fashion Week or serving as a panelist as a Faces of Sola Brand Ambassador.

Carlisha goes where a Textured Hairstylist is needed, and no matter how busy she gets Carlisha always makes time for her Clients.
